The mind at night.

My mother used to say it was eating sweets before going to bed. Which was once justified when i had chocolate cake for dessert and then dreamed that i was kidnapped by an elderly/fellow church member in the TJ Maxx dressing room.

Last night it was different.
1. First I quit my now 'stable' job and moved to an all glass wearhouse on a country highway. We arranged all of my belongings (along with some of my mother's) in display rack fashion and people took it upon themselves to drop in to shop. It wasn't meant to be a boutique but turned into one. I didn't have a business license and I was freaked out by the method I would run people's credit cards for their purchases. The roof of my home/boutique proved unstable when it rained and flooded the whole 'warehouse'. Dad said I needed a new roof, which I didn't have the money for because I quit my 'stable' job. I was forced to file bankrupcy.

2. Second dream that I can recall. There was a murder one night when we were giving a high school classmate a going away party. Bucky was two years older than me and his parents left after the Mack Truck plant closed. So it had to be 1999. 11 years ago. My family and I were confronted by a detective on a sunny afternoon (at my old house, which we left in 1998). My high school girl friends and I, along with some guys from HS, were being investigated for the murder. Apparently at a previous private interview with one of the guys, he incriminated me saying that i was at fault. I had NO recollection of the accident. Long story short, I was taken to jail along with another girl who didn't seem at all affected by the situation. She also got to bring her dog to jail with her. I was pissed that mine didn't get the option of coming. I woke up before trial. All I knew that they had against me was a hair from the car in which the girl was killed and other witness testimonies about my actions. And again, i had no recollection of the accident- wondering if i was capable of doing such a crime and then erasing it from my memory. I had no cause to do such a thing. I wake up panicked.

Analyze that.
